Training Sessions

Interfaith Caregivers Volunteer Training Session
January 21, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m.

Volunteer drivers are needed to take Interfaith Caregivers' clients in Haddon Heights and Haddonfield to their doctors' appointments, to the grocery store, and to other places for which they need transportation.  We need all types of volunteers, and we encourage parents of young children to consider how volunteering with IFC can fit into your busy day.  Even if you only have twenty minutes a week, you can drop someone off at a local appointment or help make a meal for someone while teaching your children the value and importance of helping others.  After the holidays are over, and the New Year has begun, please consider making volunteering a part of your family's values.  We are having a one-day training session, during which babysitting will be provided free of charge, scheduled for January 21, 2009 from 9:00-11:30 a.m. at the United Methodist Church of Haddonfield, Haddonfield, NJ. For reservations, please call the office at 856-354-0298.  We are confident that you and your family will find volunteering with IFC rewarding.  Please call Lea Jacovini at 856-354-2020 with any questions.
