Computer
Generations offers solutions:
- At a time
when school districts are investing in computer hardware and software
for their classrooms, the computer knowledge of the students and their
teachers needs to keep pace.
- When
there is a need for students with disabilities to improve functional
capabilities using computer technology, they (along with their teachers
and parents) will require computer training using assistive computer
technology
- At a juncture
in their lives when many senior citizens feel isolated, there is a need
for relevant computer training to help them stay connected to family
and friends.
Computer
Generations, Inc.
was founded by Debra Moorer in 2001. Debra established this nonprofit
organization to provide computer training to people of all ages in order
to help them succeed in our increasingly technological society. Her
educational background in Information Technology and her wide experience
as a business woman and teacher provides a firm foundation for Computer
Generations. Debra received a BS in Biology from Lebanon Valley College
and a BS in Computer Science from Drexel University and is close to
completing a MS in Computer Science at Drexel. She has instructed students
of all ages in southern New Jersey for over a decade. Debra has taught
computer skills to students and school staff in preschools and elementary
schools as well as in many local senior citizen centers.
The teaching
staff of Computer Generations is eager to provide schools, special needs
students and their teachers, and senior citizens with the tools they
need in order to prosper in our increasingly technological society.
